Getting Started on Your Zero Trust Journey
Zero Trust doesn't have to be difficult. In fact, if done properly, enterprises can ease into its pillars over time, fairly simply. Identifying the question of "where do I begin" can be seen as the leading pain point when creating your zero trust strategy. In this session, Frank will take you through the first steps of a Zero Trust journey including grouding your knowledge in the core concepts of zero trust, deciding where to begin, determining the key considerations to recognize, and exploring how to approach each phase of deployment.

Frank is an accomplished security and risk management leader with more than 20 years of experience, including 10 years leading global security & infrastructure teams for Fortune 1000 organizations. Frank has a passion for designing and driving effective cybersecurity programs and initiatives at enterprise scale in diverse environments. Frank specializes in greenfield security program development, accelerating information security program transformations (fixer uppers), and driving complex merger & acquisition integrations and divestitures for large organizations. Frank has a passion for zero trust, but not as an industry buzz word, but instead to drive effective security outcomes across businesses of all sizes. He serves on the Cloud Security Alliance Zero Trust Working Group, and locally with the Charlotte Cloud Security Alliance chapter focused on learning and development initiatives. Frank also serves on several other advisory boards and regularly volunteers with ISC2 by serving as a content developer for the CISSP and CCSP certification exams.
