DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Code integrations to third-party tools to automate client processes.
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
- Participate in client meetings, assist with documenting requirements, and research in-scope technologies if prior knowledge does not exist.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
- Work closely with customers and product managers to identify and refine high-value integration use cases and user flows.
- Work with third-party software vendors to determine how to best deploy and configure their products, understand typical usage scenarios, and determine optimal integration approaches.
- Champion technical issues/features related to integration use cases, and work closely with the rest of the engineering team to deliver product enhancements to address.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years' software development experience in Python and/or Java, with application servers, relational databases, message queues, REST/JSON and SOAP web services.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle, including the planning, design, development and implementation, deployment and maintenance stages.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Strong application and infrastructure knowledge; i.e., git, bash and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience developing integration with APIs from various applications.
- A history of developing applications that integrate between multiple systems is a strong plus.

LOCATION
Cloudrise is headquartered in the heart of the Colorado Western Slope, surrounded by the Grand Mesa, Colorado Monument, orchards and vineyards, and incredible skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, golfing, and whitewater rafting. It is just a couple hours from legendary Arches National Park, Vail, Aspen, Telluride, and more. Candidates willing to relocate to Grand Junction or the surrounding areas will be eligible for paid relocation and a salary increase of ~ 15%.
