The National Institute of Standards and Technology's National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence has published for comment a preliminary draft- the first of three volumes of the upcoming practice guide Validating the Integrity of Computing Devices.
Organizations are increasingly at risk of supply chain compromise, whether intentional or unintentional. This practice guide can benefit organizations who want to verify that the internal components of their computing devices are genuine and have not been altered during the manufacturing and distribution process.
By releasing each volume of the practice guide as a preliminary draft, we can share the progress made to date and use the feedback received to shape future volumes of the practice guide.

Volume A is a high-level Executive Summary that explains the challenge, solution, and benefits of this project.
