Hello, yesterday I got my CCSK certification; I started as a systems administrator, went to networks and then I saw that the security guys had a better time :) .Communicating transversally is key in any project. This new knowledge has opened me not only more vocabulary but also an understanding of what the cloud really is.
    Cheers!

    Thanks Imran!

about your question for intern about the exam (hope it helps someone) :

My path was somewhat tortuous as I failed several times.
    In summary take:
    • The whizlabs questionnaires
    • James Leone's Cybrary Course
    • The knowledge.cloudsecurityalliance.org course
    • I read the corresponding guide and its annexes three times.

(If you wonder if you come across a question from somewhere, hopefully you will see 2 or 3 almost verbatim, nothing more. The questionnaires were rather to practice your knowledge)

The penultimate time I did it I realized that I was not getting anything out of memorizing if I didn't fully understand what this was about. It was very misleading to learn that it was an open book test as it was a false sense of confidence. What I really appreciate was the translation into my Spanish language by the team in charge that allowed me to deeply understand the subject.

Since there were times that it seemed that it was a battle against grammar and / or the best answer according to much experience and decision making.

I learned to love and recognize everywhere that was talked about, took many webinars on the subject and tried to fully develop the subject. The bottom line is that you love what you learn and make it yours.

    Regards.

Thank you very much Julio for taking your time out on providing this extensive feedback.  This is very helpful as I have been approaching this for quite some time, but due to work and other commitments have not had the opportunity to remain steady on my readings.

I believe you are absolutely right about building the interest, which is there but I guess allocating the time for it is key, at least on my end.

Btw, I have been utilizing Whizlabs, but the memorization may not be quite effective so will review your other resources and attempt to take the challenge patiently.

    Thanks once again!

    Best,

    Imran
