    The GSMA published December 2021 2 documents:

    Open Source Software Security, A Research Summary, December 2020
    This report is intended to offer a summary of some of the key information sources researched so that the
    reader can relatively quickly gain an overview of open-source software security considerations and
    undertake their own research into the referenced sources. This document is structured as a series of topic
    areas relevant to open source software security. Each topic has reference links and some direct copies of
    relevant excerpts.

    Open Networking & the Security of Open Source Software Deployment January 2021
    This document introduces the concepts of Open Source Software (OSS) and open networking by exploring a
    variety of deployment scenarios within virtualized mobile networks. Wider and related aspects are discussed
    including an overview of the software development process. This theme is extended to identify various
    'shades' of open source varying from unique new proprietary code developments through commercially-supported
    software packages including significant open-source code and on towards open-source community-supported
    software packages.
