Hi Stephen ... you are welcome to 'borrow' what you want from a version we've created for our ZafePass solution. I personally think you should add some kind of "connectivity" between the data and control plane - but that's just me :-)

    Hello Stephen,

The graphic looks nice with a clean flow.
Here is what I would do:
    1. Use the graphic that Niels provided as a reference
    2. Match the labels and descriptions with CSA terminology for consistency
    3. As Niels suggests, show the connection points between the Data and Control plane
    4. Use a color code mapping to distinguish core elements like Control/Data planes and related objects
    5. Use a color blind schema

I learn visually and originally trained in CAD. Color is super important for me to associate and highlight important/critical concepts. Thus, it is great to have a graphics designer onboard as you have a better idea on how to use color and graphics to convey ideas.
A personal wish would be to have a standard color palette and icon library that this group can use consistently to address specific areas.

    Cheers

    Rob

Thank you for the helpful response, Rob! I will definitely review the labels and add the suggested connection points. I'll also be sure to review the entire color scheme of this graphic and others through a color-blindness test to ensure accessibility. Thanks again!

Maybe using the colors in the Security guidance?
