Human Capital and lessons learned from COVID-19 for future BCP

When:  Jun 10, 2020 from 12:00:00 PM to 01:00:00 PM (ET)

About this Event

Most organizations resorted to work remotely during the COVID-19 Pandameic outbreak. Now as the businesses are eager to open and ramp up to previous levels, many corporate/IT/security teams would probably not be the front runners due to the fact that most corporate functions can be performed from anywhere and more organizations are migrating the workloads to the cloud that provides ubiquitous accessibility.

This accessibility brings its own challenges and security risks.

There’s a huge gap between the organizations’ needs and availability of skilled cloud security professionals. Organizations are fighting for the same limited pool of talents.

The best course of action appears to retrain existing security professionals that already have tons of tribal knowledge about the business of the organization into skilled cloud security professionals.

This one-hour session is designed for the IT, security and non-IT corporate professionals. This session introduces the core cloud concepts with focus on security such as secure cloud infrastructure, cloud DevOps, cloud governances, cloud security best practices, Cloud Control Matrix (CCM) and Start registry.
