The Cloud Security Alliance was born from the need to collaborate for the industry's greater good. Open-source security is the future of our industry. Hackers are ahead because the game is rigged; they are syndicating, so why shouldn't we do the same? As a community, our fates are linked, so why wouldn't we want to help one another? Open-source security offers a competitive advantage since it's developed in a decentralized and collaborative way, relying on peer review and community production.
