Dear WG Members,
CSA Research has created a new volunteer role called the Standards Liaison Officer (SLO). The role is created to help ensure that CSA working groups are kept up-to-date and aware of standards development activities in various Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) related to the subject matter of the working group.
The process will involve working with the CSA International Standardization Council (ISC) to help inject CSA research into various SDOs where applicable. The SLO is expected to:
- Attend ISC meetings when relevant to their working group topics
- Keep aware of topics within the ISC that are relevant to their working groups
- Collect comments for assigned submission to SDOs from the ISC
- Keep aware of standards relevant to their working group topics
