    A regular stream of web articles and what-if's come out regarding undue influence algorithms have on day to day activities.  When you reflect on it, algorithms are influencing decisions in criminal justice, medicine, traffic control, recommender systems and moderation bots.  Whether you fall into the Technology-Determinist camp, or the Social Constructivist camp, more awareness is never a bad thing especially in the dymanic area of AI amd ML. Beyond this seminar consider looking up material released by the Simons Institute at Berkeley, IBM AI Fairness 360, Symposium on Responsible Computing, or the Aaron Roth book titled, "The Ethical Algorithm."
