Dr. Meng-Chow KANG (Adjunct Associate Professor, Nanyang Technological University) will speak on "Concentration Risk and Operational Resilience in the use of Cloud Services." As organizations increase adoption of public cloud services, several regulators have expressed concerns over potential concentration risk that may affect organizations & the industry as a result of major service outages or cyber-attacks that cloud service providers (CSPs) may encounter. This session presents our findings on the perspectives of cloud users, CSPs, & global regulators on their concerns & considerations on concentration risk, the challenges of balancing business needs, & the measures that respective stakeholders may undertake to improve their operational resilience.
