Quantum-Safe Security

Thank you to everyone who persevered through the dial-in issues and joined today's short call. Below are the slides and brief notes from this meeting.

• Moving call time/date
  • Co-chairs have schedule conflicts and need to move the time of the working group meetings going forward. Bring dates and times you're regularly available to the next meeting as the new time will be finalized there
• Quantum Physics 101 standard paragraph
  • Due to conflicts about wording for quantum physics 101/intro paragraphs in papers, we want to develop a standardized paragraph to avoid constant re-work.
  • Hillary will be scheduling a meeting with parties interested in developing these intro paragraphs. Reach out directly if you are interested in participating
• QSS Security Controls
  • Current work: Identifying relevant controls, analyzing how important each is, explaining why it's selected and attempting to write a control
  • CCM controls are non-technical, human focused making it a bit difficult
  • Group wants to discuss how IoT approached this issue. Hillary will provide introduction via email.
• Key Management collab -

  • Key Management Working Group wants to  collaborate with the QSS group on an upcoming paper
  • Need feedback on the rough outline they've provided (e.g., scope, reference papers)
