    Dear members,

    On the working group's call on the 6th of June there was no progress made related to the new action item.

    Meeting Minutes:

    • The "CCPA-PLA_CoC Gap Resolution" initiative, has now been sent to the CSA design time and will be soon ready for publication.
    • Marina to send out a 'call for participation' for new volunteers to help with the work, on the new document '2023_04_13_CPRA - PLA_CoP_Mapping (WiP)':
    • Mark Vinkovits ( @Mark Vinkovits ) has been assigned 10 controls to map to GDPR and fill columns D and E (respectively rows: 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 147, 197, 198, 199, 200)

    Agenda:

    • Working group to go through the the new document '2023_04_13_CPRA - PLA_CoP_Mapping (WiP)': and discuss progress there. Tab 'CPRA - PLA_CoC Mapping' of the document.
    • Radhika Bajpai ( @Radhika Bajpai) has already started and has been reviewing all CPRA controls (column B) in respect to GDPR and voting whether they agree or not with the marked as Out-of-Scope controls.
    • Next step will be for new volunteers to assign 10 controls from the  red cells , or less, each and perform the mapping or gap analysis with GDPR for columns D (GDPR mapping) and E (type of provision)
    • How to work on the document:
      • E.g. Row 203: For 'Adv+Marketing', find the corresponding provision under GDPR, and fill it in column D, (use as another example to this one of the green cells that have the GDPR provision already filled in there). If there is no correspondence with GDPR, mark it as N/A. 
        • In column E include the 'Type of the provision', e.g. Definition and Procedures.
        • In order to avoid double work in the same row, each reviewer is requested to include their name next to the row they are working on, in column C.

    Next working group call is on Tuesday 20 June, at 08:00 a.m. PST / 11:00 EST / 16:00 GMT / 17:00 CET.
