As President of the CSA Chapter in Austin, his commitment is towards education of cybersecurity best practices, cutting-edge solutions to push the boundaries of innovation and bringing the Austin Cyber community together.

Steven Maske

Steven Maske is a senior information security leader with over 20 years of IT experience in a variety of industries including consumer goods, retail and ecommerce, manufacturing, banking, healthcare, defense, and transportation. He specializes in growing and maturing security programs with the goal of being “a compass, not a hammer.”  Steven is currently the Global Director and Head of Cybersecurity at YETI where he is responsible for the overall security program – including strategy, operations, budget, policies, and procedures, as well as oversight of all corporate projects and strategic initiatives to ensure security-by-design.

Dan Devane
Dan has been helping enterprise businesses protect critical data for over 20 years. As a strong leader in the space, Dan is keen on including as many members from the Austin community in our Cloud Security Alliance events and chapter meetings so that every one of our members has a voice.

Max has spent the majority of his career shaping GTM functions for cyber companies. Ranging from 10 person startups, to 100,000 employee Fortune companies, he finds great passion in helping organizations navigate the ever changing funding & IPO environments to achieve their goals of securing our most valuable resource: information. However, at all various stages that organizations grow through; Max firmly believes the people are what makes them thrive. Making it is his vision to build and shape the cyber community here in Austin, TX to bring great cyber leaders together to share their ideas & experiences.

Nate Walker

After working with Cybersecurity companies for the first 4 years of his career, Nate realized his enthusiasm for the space and ended up at CrowdStrike. Through networking and staying on top of industry news, he realized that Cloud Security was becoming increasingly more top of mind and his interest led him to Wiz. At Wiz, Nate is responsible for hosting/ attending events, networking, and helping cloud security professionals solve some of their biggest challenges. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, exercising, and finding new places to grab food or a drink.

Brandon Kruse

Brandon leads the South Central Commercial team at Rapid7 and studied engineering at the University of South Florida. He moved to Austin in 2011 and when he's not helping customers improve their overall security posture, Brandon can be found trying to improve his overall golf game at the local city courses around Austin.
