Cybersecurity Intern – Associate CISO (aCISO)
Summary
The Associate CISO "aCISO" will support Cybersecurity & Compliance by assisting vCISO's with the development and maintenance of the company compliance, risk management programs and client cybersecurity programs. The aCISO will also assist with research and testing the effectiveness of the company policies, procedures and overall governance, risk and compliance program.
Our aCISO's are assigned special projects and various other duties that are intended to provide them with valuable professional work experience and industry insight. Interns will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals, insight to our unique culture and business philosophy.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related major.
- Coursework related and/or prior internship related to cyber security
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
Responsibilities:
- Focus on internal and external vulnerability tracking analytics
- Assist with researching vulnerabilities and cyber risk landscape
- Draft alerts for new cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Assist with the creation of graphs and charts for reporting of risk posture and risk management
- Assist with controls for NIST CSF, CIS, CCPA and GDPR compliance and document findings
- Develop, enhance and manage compliance tools and create dashboards to present compliance data
- Conduct, support, build and develop analytics the external footprint around OSINT, threat intelligence, tools and security rating
- Research resources, open source and current tools to integrate into the workflow & process
- Promote our practice, services, and products by engaging in marketing activities including webinars, blogs, creating videos and whitepapers, etc.
Skills And Experience:
- Familiarity with the various Cybersecurity Frameworks
- Basic knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team to accomplish organizational goals
- Stellar writing skills, with keen attention to detail, grammar, and formatting
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
- Seeking career in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance landscape
- Actively enrolled in a University with a semester or more remaining prior to completion of degree
