HashiCorp's commercial products are now available to our customers as a fully managed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering. As a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Security and Assurance, you will be responsible for building technologies, processes, and practices that address the security of our customers' data in the public cloud.
You will develop a deep understanding of the platform security needs of key market segments, and how they pertain to the different HashiCorp products. You will work cross functionally with engineering and other product managers to help shape policy-as-code strategies for all HashiCorp product lines, based on the needs of customers and risk management frameworks. You are familiar with public cloud security tooling and best practices, in order to deliver security guidance and security control implementations used to secure workloads.

In this role you can expect to...
- Own the business strategy and roadmap for cloud security and security assurance across all HashiCorp cloud products and services.
- Understand the unique security needs of each product line and build common platform security practices that adhere to HashiCorp's trust requirements and multiple compliance frameworks.
- Participate in detailed planning and prioritization exercises jointly with engineering.
- Detect areas that are ripe for improvement and establish appropriate security goals.
- Influence and collaborate with colleagues to develop secure solutions and to accomplish stated security goals.
- Be a champion for customer data security and infrastructure security.
You may be a good fit for our team if you have...
- Deep knowledge of platform security and security assurance on SaaS infrastructure products and public cloud platforms.
- 5+ years of experience in a security focused PM role with a B2B SaaS product.
- Experience driving security needs cross functionally across multiple product lines.
- Understanding of the enterprise services space, particularly managed services and system integration.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on written communication.
- High levels of customer empathy and a passion for using numbers to understand how customers adopt and use products.
