    • State of Financial Services in the Cloud in 2022 Survey and Report

The CSA would like to invite the Financial Services Industry (FSI) research working group and the CSA's FSI Circle Community to participate in the 2022  State of Financial Services in the Cloud Survey.
The goal of this survey is to analyze the level of adoption of cloud solutions and requirements from financial institutions' perspectives compared to a prior survey conducted in 2019. Additionally, we are asking further questions on current challenges facing the financial service industry and engagement with their cloud service providers.

In administering the survey, the Cloud Security Alliance wants to take the temperature of cloud computing in the financial sector to identify opportunities to create guidance on protecting financial data and related assets within secure cloud services. These takeaways will inform the Financial Services working group and serve as actionable items to address the concerns and opportunities associated with cloud computing and financial services.
      Length: 31 questions, 10 minutes
      Deadline: Dec 9

      Analysis of the
survey results will inform the Financial Services working group and provide actionable items to address the concerns and opportunities associated with cloud computing and financial services.  The Financial Services Industry Working Group is assembling a focus group to help analyze the survey results and contribute to the development of an updated "State of Financial Services in the Cloud" report to be released and discussed at the CSA Financial Services Industry Virtual Summit to be held on 2/16-16/2023.

Volunteers interested in participating in this focus group should send an expression of interest to
[email protected]cloudsecurityalliance.org. Volunteers should also sign up for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) Research Working Group and join the CSA's FSI Circle Community if they haven't already. FSI community members should also check out the ongoing FinCloud Fridays Webinar Series.

The CSA is also planning to kick off a revamped Financial Services Industry Working Group and Financial Services Industry Community early in the new year to follow through on the ideas and action items resulting from the survey, report and the FSI Summit.  The plan is to kick off a new series of monthly FSI meetings starting in 2023.
