Dear CSA SaaS Governance Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As our community has been quiet for the past year, I'm reaching out to propose a reinvigoration of our vital work, with a particular focus on the exponential impact that pre-seed through Series B tech startups are having on our market. I would love the opportunity to serve as the new chair of the SaaS Governance Community to lead the way in developing effective SaaS governance strategies for this dynamic sector.

I'm Jerome Angeles, an information security strategist with over a decade of experience in cloud environments, particularly in the startup ecosystem. My background includes:

• Extensive experience as a virtual CISO for SaaS companies, guiding them from pre-seed to Series B stages
• Successful implementations of SOC2, ISO27001, HITRUST, FedRAMP, and GDPR for rapidly scaling startups
• A proven track record of fostering security-conscious cultures in lean, agile organizations

My vision for our community is to become the leading resource for SaaS governance in the startup ecosystem:

1. Facilitating discussions on governance challenges specific to different startup stages (pre-seed, seed, Series A, Series B)
2. Creating practical, scalable resources for implementing SaaS governance in resource-constrained environments
3. Fostering collaboration between established enterprises and startups to share best practices and lessons learned
4. Organizing virtual workshops on emerging SaaS governance issues tailored to high-growth companies
5. Strengthening our community's influence in shaping standards and regulations that accommodate the startup lifecycle
