The Anatomy of a Cloud Security Incident
Understanding what exactly is happening during a cloud security incident can be challenging. Reconstructing it and figuring out what to do next can be ever harder. Join us as we dive into the nuances of cloud security incidents and share insights on how organizations can better protect their cloud infrastructures. We’ll take a real-world look at the types of cloud ransomware that SentinelOne sees regularly, as well as the actors behind these attacks. We’ll also share how cloud ransomware can be detected, investigated, and responded to in near-real time.

About the presenter:
Nick Davis, Director of Product Management for Cloud Workload Security, brings over 10 years of experience building Detection & Response products to SentinelOne. Prior to joining SentinelOne Nick helped create the Cloud Security product organization at Datadog, and before that he led product management for IDR and MDR products at Rapid7 where his team focused on advanced detection and response capabilities. Now, Nick works closely with Security, DevOps, and Engineering teams to implement new and effective ways to face the dynamic challenges of cloud security. Nick has published papers on facial recognition systems and hazardous environment detection using UAV systems. When he’s not at work, you can find him reading up on large scale distributed systems, traveling the world, or skiing.
