Summary/Abstract: As organizations increasingly migrate to the cloud, attackers are evolving their tactics to exploit misconfigurations, over-permissioned identities, and gaps in visibility. "Anatomy of a Cloud Attack" dives deep into the lifecycle of modern cloud compromises, focusing on how adversaries gain initial access and pivot laterally across cloud environments to escalate privileges and exfiltrate data.
Through real-world case studies, we will break down the tools, techniques, and procedures used by attackers. We will explore how seemingly small missteps, like exposed access tokens or overly broad IAM policies, become footholds for full-blown breaches. We’ll conclude with actionable guidance on detection, response, and remediation. Whether you're a cloud architect, SOC analyst, or security leader, this session will equip you with a deeper understanding of cloud attack paths and how to disrupt them before they cause damage.
