Zero Trust Networking for difficult use cases - CI/OT/IoT, air gapped networks and more

Description: At the DoD Zero Trust Symposium in April 2024, the DoD ZT PfMO presented mission use cases for 2024, some of the more challenging areas to apply Zero Trust principles. These included ZT for Operational Technology/Weapon Systems, Data Centers on tactical Edge, Mission Partner Environments, Legacy Apps, ZT Advanced, and DDIL (Denied, Disrupted, Intermittent, and Limited networks).

Such use cases present challenges for achieving zero trust networking, particularly advanced and optimal levels as defined in CISA ZTMM 2.0. This session will look at what makes them challenging and how we can solve them with reference architecture and technologies.

Bio: Philip Griffiths, Head of Strategic Sales for NetFoundry. Philip is actively involved in the CSA Zero Trust workgroup, as well as various events and industry forums including SEI Zero Trust Days.
