Gigamon 4/20 Informational ZT Observability Presentation & RecordingRecording link: https://cloudsecurityalliance.zoom.us/rec/share/-OqzXI-MruiiD0TSE4Ff-2oEoBrbcpWjRx_hctt0OxndNV0DMf_m5TpXdmaEM2O3A.hV9iacmro0FpiF7HFor the past 3 years, security architects at Gigamon have been researching and implementing approaches to zero trust using network data in motion, especially focusing on hybrid and multi-cloud environments. While much of current ZTA thinking has focused on the device or workload, there are some powerful security properties which come from balancing and correlating that internal observability (delivered either via MELT or EDR-type approaches) with external visibility of the workload, and this is especially relevant to cloud-hosted environments and extremely high-maturity TTPs. Gigamon’s Security CTO will be delivering a summary of this research, and discussing some of the interesting positive attributes which come from architecting this approach into your operationalized zero trust environment.
